ALOHA CARE BEARS
Give Warmth to Typhoon Child Survivors

Wailuku, HI November 26, 2013 - Typhoon Haiyan, said to be the worst typhoon in
history, has caused massive devastation in the Philippines. Thousands of lives have
been lost, leaving an untold number of children orphaned and displaced.

"Toys are the last thing on anyone's mind during a disaster," says
Dr. Virgie Cantorna, a clinical psychologist on Maui. Having worked for the young
survivors of Katrina, she knows firsthand how comforting plush, cuddly stuffed
animals can be, particularly for traumatized children.

Aloha Care Bears, a project of the Maui Filipino Working Group
(MFWG), in partnership with the Unity Church of Maui, aims to help ease the pain
and trauma being experienced by the child survivors of typhoon Haiyan.

You can help! Won't it make you feel good that a child, having lost
everything, can have a special gift from you, one that may be the only gift he or she
would receive this Christmas? All teddy bears collected and 100% of your donations,
for which tax receipts are available, will go directly to the children hurt by Haiyan.

Please DROP OFF your gifts at:
