That’s all coming up with the 46th Annual Barrio Fiesta on Friday, May 22 through Saturday May 23 at the War Memorial Soccer Field. The Barrio Fiesta is presented by Binhi At Ani, led by president Florante Garcia, in conjunction with other community organizations (Alcalanians, Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Good Shepherd Church Youth, Kings Cathedral Filipino Ministry, Lahaina Filipino Catholic Club, Lahaina Junior Filipino Catholic Club, Maui HS ELL Club).
Even the County of Maui—with County on Your Corner—will be participating. Other events include the Grease Pole Contest on Saturday, a Veterans Memorial Service on Saturday morning, the crowning of the Miss Barrio Fiesta on Friday night, cultural entertainment, Zumba! withKeoni's HotLava DanceFit Studio, the Little Miss Barrio Fiesta contest on Saturday night, lots of Tinikling, games, and even a basketball tournament.
